Hi 👋 I'm Aimee, the owner, creator and smiling face behind both The Little Bird Designs and Aimee's Nail Studio! I sort of do it all!
So why start ANOTHER thing?
For as long as I can remember, writing has been my passion. In school, if I could turn an essay into a story or art project, I would do it! I just adored making homemade books and folding up paper to make what is now called a zine!
Plus, do you remember those notebooks that had the lines at the bottom and the blank space at the top? I absolutely LOVED those!
For the past few years, I have been itching to get back to writing. I had a blog in the early days of The Little Bird Designs, and I still write for Andrie Designs, but now? Now I want to write for fun.
I want to write stories, not just tutorials, recipes or about the latest product.
I want to write about dreams and poems.
Most of all, I want to write without pressure or expectations!
My writing will show up sporadically and with no real reason. I have no direct purpose yet except to just have fun.
So expect grammar errors, emojis and more exclamation points than you'll ever see in your life!
This is an imperfect place of joy, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I plan to!
